The Prince George Pride Society was established in the 1990s as a grassroots movement by local 2SLGBTQIA+ activists and allies seeking visibility, equality, and community support in Northern British Columbia.
What began as small gatherings and advocacy efforts grew into an organized, incorporated society in 1997. Since then, the organization has been a driving force behind annual Pride celebrations in Prince George, offering events, education, and outreach aimed at promoting inclusion and celebrating diversity!

The members of our leadership each bring their own set of complementary strengths, experiences and resources, and all share a dedication to our local community and to PG Pride's mission and values.
We live, work, and play on the occupied unceded ancestral territory of the Lheidli T’enneh. We acknowledge the ongoing consequences of colonization that disproportionately harm Indigenous queer, trans and Two-Spirit people.
