The PG Pride Society wishes everyone a very Happy Pride! Pride season is upon us here in Prince George, with parades, marches, picnics, and festivals unfolding on Indigenous territory all across the North, throughout the province, and across the country. This tradition of dedicating the summer months to Pride echoes with the voices of our queer ancestors—raising their voices in resistance and celebration, demanding inclusion, and holding human dignity as inalienable, no matter who or where you are.
In PG, we are a hub city, and we are able to celebrate Pride in a big way. We have a vibrant 2SLGBTQIAP+ community, with people coming from places near and far to celebrate with us. Small-town Pride can be a different kind of experience—with fewer people, smaller events, and sometimes greater apprehension. But solidarity and community are Pride. The PG Pride Society encourages everyone to celebrate in as many ways and places as you can. Get to know the dates of Prince George’s events, the events in smaller communities around us, and some of the big-city celebrations, too. We are stronger, happier, and wiser when we gather—especially when we join together in celebration of queer joy! We’re so excited for all of the upcoming events, both here at home on unceded Lheidli T’enneh territory and in our neighbouring communities.

Your donations help us continue serving the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Prince George. As a nonprofit, all funds raised go toward our operating costs and to support our mission of creating inclusive events and spaces, celebrating our diversity, and advocating for our community - because representation matters!
PG Pride Society is dedicated to Pride; pride in ourselves, pride in our community. We aim to increase visibility, validate and bring our community together, through Pride Week events, our annual Pride Parade, and we're only getting started!
Every dollar counts, and we thank you for considering supporting us and our vision!

We live, work, and play on the occupied unceded ancestral territory of the Lheidli T’enneh. We acknowledge the ongoing consequences of colonization that disproportionately harm Indigenous queer, trans and Two-Spirit people.
